Create calendar event
Purpose of this building block
With this script you can add an event to a Google Calendar.
Possible use cases
- Create an event whenever a user submits a form
Configuration
As this script requires access to Google Calendar you will have to grant access when using this script for the very first time.
Lock
When adding the script to your flow for the very first time, a red lock indicates that you have not yet authorized the script. Click on the red lock to start the authorization process.
After starting the authorization process a pop-up will appear. Please keep this window open until you have completed the authorization process. Click on the Continue
button to proceed to the next step.
The next screen will show you all the permissions that the script needs to run properly. Click on the Accept
button to grant access to the required services.
Once you have granted access you can close the window. Click on the red lock again to check if the script is now authorized. The script parameters should then show up and the red lock should be replaced with the reload button.
Click on the reload button to reload the parameter definitions of the script. This is only required if the script gets updated by floreysoft.
Please note that if you are using the Switch user building block to add the event to a calendar of another user, you will also have to grant access to the script with the other account.
